Mobile Digital Mammography
Lamboo Specials Sales built the first mobile mammography system in The Netherlands in 1985. After the first mammography trailer, many others with the latest medical technologies followed. As the technology in the medical world developed, digital mammograpy was introduced and generated interest from hospitals and medical companies.
Mobile digital mammography trailers required better insulation than analog systems, and climate control within the trailer became an important issue due to the sensitivity of the detector plate. Lamboo Special Sales proved to have high quality insulation, enabling operational use from -35 to 50 degrees Celsius. A new market opened for the use of mobile digital mammography.
In order to screen as many patients as possible and to create a better working area, Lamboo Specials Sales offers the option of building a body 3 meters wide. The main advantages of operating with a 3 meter wide are:
- More room around the mammography unit
- 3 changing cabinets
- A larger waiting area
- A better working environment inside the unit
Lamboo Specials Sales is certified by all medical suppliers, giving the customers the oppertunity to choose their preferred mammography equipment.
