History

1957
Joost Lamboo, the son and grandson of vehicle body sheet metal workers, began his own bodywork factory in 1957. Blessed with employees with a passion for the trade, he soon managed to acquire an excellent reputation in the transport sector. Custom building and high quality were top priorities right from the start, together with a keen appreciation of the turbulent developments in the field of transport in those days. Special customer as the Royal Family even gave the order to work on the Royal Golden Carriage and to supply their Royal horse transportation vehicles.


1985
Lamboo has build the first mobile mammography unit in The Netherlands. After receiving this order a team within the company started to specialize in the medical field. More similar business projects ended to be successful in the market where after Lamboo Specials Sales made its start as a separate division. This division mainly specialized in the Medical and Promotion field serving customer as for instance a variety of Formule 1 teams and customers in the Medical field.

2002
The first certification of a Mobile MRI trailer was accomplished in 2002. This was the start of a engineering period of 5 years where all possible certification processes were fulfilled successfully.  Our team was proud to build in this period next to mobile MRI’s, CT’s and Cathlabs also the first European mobile PET/CT trailers for Siemens and Philips.

Today
Lamboo Specials Sales is nowadays one of the main players in the medical field of providing mobile and relocatable solutions. With the drive to be market leader in Europe within 5 years all mobile modalities are build according the guidelines of all medical suppliers. As being certified by all medical suppliers Lamboo Specials Sales has a neutral position for customers to choose there preferred medical product.
